Whittier Wildcat 5th grader and kindergartner

Week one is complete. Thankful for the slow start.

5th grade, a new beginning. It won’t be easy and we’re here to help every step of the way. There will be potholes, boulders, and ships among the smooth road. Our prayer was answered for a new teacher this year. Sweet Harrison last year was truly awful from start to finish. Pandemic was a blessing for your anxiety and confidence. Together, we have learned so much about your amazing brain and how you learn best. Even in the toughest times, God is so good. We love you, no matter what.

Not what we envisioned for your first year of elementary school, Lewis. We will work together in making it the very best we can. There will be bumps of all sizes in the road ahead. We are thankful for a wonderful teacher and kindergarten team at Whittier. We look forward to discovering how your sweet amazing brain works. Even in the toughest of times, God is so good. We love you, no matter what.
