Mid-winter break

Oh these two boys of ours! They can be so silly…and so not wanting to get their picture taken.

Kennedy Space Center was an amazing all day event with Poppy.

Atlantis was a huge hit for us all!

Super cool to meet an astronaut and get his autograph!

After a day of swimming and rest we headed to Legoland

2E and an easier way to understand it

This has been a week filled with intense emotions. I continue to turn inward with my feelings, only causing heartache that I bring on myself. Maybe I do it because I believe everyone is tired of hearing about the emotional load I carry…Once I reached out to a friend for how to best understand and explain 2E my heart was able to stop breaking and put a bandaid on it.

I have begun to say, “one second at a time” since taking tiny, tiny, tiny steps seems to too big right now.

Having resources and being reminded of the community I have is powerful.

Here are three links from friends and support groups that better explains 2E.

A lens into how amazing, complex, loving, imaginative, creative, and quirky our boys are.

With Gods guidance and the community he helps provide has been amazing.

Adele in Vegas

Powerful voice and words

She sure did set fire to the rain!

A wonderful weekend celebrating my bestie from 3rd grade with Adele. I cried, sung along and danced hard. Adele’s voice is stunning and her lyrics have always hit me hard. Defiantly will not hesitate going to see perform in the future.

Looking forward to where Amanda and I meet up next year.

Whidbey Island

Harrison got away from us before our friend Tim could get a picture so we had to improvise.

It was a fun day going on a small hike and then to Fort Casey

Sunday+running really late to church=Seattle Aquarium

Not sure if measuring their height will ever get old

Typically we go to the aquarium in the middle of the day with lots of people walking along the water. Sunday around 10:30am is not busy and we took the time to go through the Miner’s Landing, bonus to discover the arcade.

Lewis overload

Before Christmas break in science Lewis made a rocket and was able to see how pens/pencils/and markers work in space

Love his focus as he wears all his winter gear

Best placemat around! I love the colors and his smily face above the sunshine

Rocket launching was a HUGE hit. His rocket went super high and was able to stay together. It is an understatement to say that Matheia School has been the largest blessing for Lewis. Another great testament of God’s faithfulness.
