It has been a horribly hard year with lots of transitions. I was not prepared for the struggles of being back in America. I remember Bill sending me an article a couple months before moving back about cultural shock. I didn't pay much attention to the article...I was moving back to Seattle with a sweet 2 month old baby and where I had friends whom have become family. We were going to live downtown in temporary cool and start the process of adding a second story to our home. This was going to be great!!! The heartache of missing the community I built in Hyderabad was the worse- Monday playdates with my spiritual sister, Wednesday Bible study, playdates after school with classmates, and living in a complex with friends only steps away from my front door. I told myself that I would go back to Hyderabad whenever Bill went for work...well he has been once and I could not bring myself to remove Harrison from school and leave for two weeks, just as he was settling into being back "at the red house" and school.

Harrison doesn't talk about India and more times then not he will change the subject when we mention it...though he will say occasionally that he misses too son, me too.

God is so good and I am so thankful to be on the other side of this past year. I will/do not regret our two years in was an amazing experience and through technology I am able to keep in touch with my friends and Faiyaz. Thank you God for the people you have brought into our lives.

We have been back in our house since January 9th...over 5 months and it feels amazing. We love the remodel and though it was stressful to get settled in (especially with over 250 boxes to put away) we are home and loving it.

Harrison will be finishing school next Friday and we are ready for a fun summer. Lewis walking and LOVES to climb!

God is good...all the time!
